2025 WAEC GCE Timetable 2nd Series (CBT Exam)

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has officially released the timetable for the 2025 General Certificate Examination (GCE) 2nd Series, which will be conducted using the traditional paper-and-pencil format. This series is designed for private candidates who wish to obtain the WAEC Senior School Certificate outside the school system.

Start Date: Thursday, 24th October 2025
End Date: Wednesday, 18th December 2025

The examination will span nearly eight weeks, covering a wide range of subjects, including core sciences, arts, commercial, and vocational papers. Candidates are advised to consult the official timetable for specific dates and paper codes.

This exam isn’t just about knowing the dates and subjects. There’s a lot more going on. You’ll have practical exams, oral tests, and project work depending on the subjects you registered for. Some subjects are split into different groups, so not everyone writes them at the same time.

Also, there are special notes in the timetable that only apply to students in certain countries. If you don’t read carefully, you might miss something important. But don’t worry, we’ll explain everything step by step so it’s easy to understand. No stress, no confusion. Just the facts you need to be ready.
