WAEC GCE Christian Religious Studies Syllabus 2025/2026

The 2025/2026 WAEC GCE Christian Religious Studies (CRS) syllabus focuses on biblical themes from the Old Testament, the Synoptic Gospels, Acts of the Apostles, and selected Epistles. Candidates will write two papers: multiple-choice and essay-based questions.

This syllabus is designed for candidates preparing for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for Private Candidates (GCE). It aims to test candidates’ understanding of biblical teachings, moral lessons, and their relevance to contemporary life.

  • Paper 2: Essay

    • Candidates must answer four questions: one from each section and one additional from Section A or B
    • Duration: 2 hours
